N107 – Lorry Loader (Hi-ab)

Course Duration: 1 - 5 days

 
The aim of training candidates on N107 – Lorry Loader (Hi-ab) is to provide them with basic knowledge and practical skills to NPORS high standard. (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme).  All candidates will be trained and tested Toland Training/PTES accredited Instructors.  Training also includes theory and practical test.

On successful completion of the NPORS assessments you will be issued with NPORS certification.  All candidates must have undertaken a Health and Safety Touch Screen Theory Test within the last 2 years.

Experienced Worker Test,
upon successful completion the candidate will be able to:
 

Carry out pre start and running checks of the carrier vehicle & lifting appliance
Configure the lorry loader & carrier vehicle for site & road travel
Manoeuvre the carrier vehicle into position in order to carry out lifting exercises
Set up carrier vehicle to carry out lifts at minimum & maximum radii
Load plant vehicle in accordance with industry practices
Secure loads on vehicle bed in accordance with industry practices
Remove and reattach bucket
Place machine in and out of service condition
Explain loading and unloading procedures
